My Philosophy and Methodology: It all starts with one word: "Improvements."
Whether it is efficiency, performance, productivity or increased
capability, I know your time and money is as valuable as mine
is. I make it my personal goal and reason I get up in the morning
to make sure that you feel the relationship is worth 10 times
what you pay me. However YOU wish to evaluate the relationship...
some base it on top line revenue growth, bottom line retained
earnings, market penetration, time management, better work environment
and company culture, reduced personal stress, or more free time
away from business... etc. As long as at the end of the day we
make noticeable "Improvements" to your life...
it has been a good day... a very good day!
My Approach: There are two proprietary underlying
themes to my approach that I have developed over the years. First,
I approach all challenges or problems as the lead architect,
slowly breaking down the needs piece by piece to formulate a
solution concept and objectives. Once this is achieved, designing
a resolution unfolds naturally. The second part of my approach
is how I work with people. Every person needs to be coached differently.
Whether it is by support, collaboration or intervention, my style
is tailored to the needs of each individual and their situation
to achieve the desired results.
My Process: It all initiates with a phone call.
We discuss your needs, challenges and goals. We then will explore
the areas where I can assist you. We then together develop a
step-by-step process. My engagement experience has ranged from
1 month to 3 years. But regardless of where and for how long
we journey together, when the journey ends there will be a friendship
that remains.
My Journey: Jon Anthony Astore identified at an early
age his natural desire and passion for business. Starting his
first business at the age of 10, he has been actively working
with clients ever since. By 30, Jon had successfully founded
and sold 3 companies. He thus initiated his consulting and coaching
career both in private practice and for Fortune 100 companies.
In 1986 Jon founded 21st Century International, where he incubated
companies, consulted and coached executives, business owners,
entrepreneurs and individuals through the end of 1996. From 1997-1999
he worked in the Sales Division of Bell Atlantic Directory Group
(now Verizon Information Services) where for 3 consecutive years
he drove 30%-42% revenue gains in an industry, which typically
achieves 3%-8% gains annually. Jon was recognized and honored
for all Top Sales Awards each year company wide. From 2000 to
early 2002, Jon was the Regional Sales Manager, Mid-Atlantic
for COX Interactive Media; the Internet division of COX Enterprises,
Inc. Jon oversaw all sales operations of a 13 state territory.
He introduced to market the highest revenue generating media
property based on audience served in the company. Jon has published
articles, authored several training and process manuals and developed
business and adult continuing education courses. Throughout his
career Jon has had the privilege to consult and coach over 1500
clients in various B2B and B2C industries and is described by
his peers as an expert in start-ups and small businesses, having
broad experience, keen wisdom, foresight, unique problem solving
techniques and passion, with a brutally honest presentation.
He earned a Bachelor of Architecture (Professional Degree) from
the University of Maryland, College Park, MD. Jon now resides
on the West Coast of Florida where he continues to consult and
coach clients coast to coast and is writing a book based on his
25+ years of practical experience in the world of business. |
